The first Minecraft Beta has begun and it’s time to start hedging your bets.
As the developers have stated, it’s not officially announced when it will be released to the public, but the announcement was made at a Minecraft event held in London last month.
It’s not the first time this has happened, with the first Minecraft beta launched in February of this year.
“The beta is now live and we’d like to thank everyone who has been playing and participating in the beta so far,” the developers wrote on their Facebook page.
“We are working hard to make sure it’s a great experience for everyone.
You can read more about the beta at www.minecraft-beta.com.”
You can also read the full announcement here.
The beta features a new look, revamped multiplayer, and the ability to play with up to eight players online.
There are no updates for Minecraft: Story Mode yet.
You may also want to keep an eye on the Minecraft: Pocket Edition launch, which launches on June 11.
